About - With his striking presence, three exceptionally high-quality basic gaits, and an ideal temperament, Barnsley captured widespread attention from his very first appearance at the licensing. He descends from the highly distinguished Fackese mare line. During his lap of honour as champion stallion, he received standing ovations from Oldenburg breeders. Oldenburg Breeding Manager Peer Eitenmüller remarked:
“Twelve advanced-level dressage horses appear within the first three generations of his pedigree, including five Grand Prix competitors—and this stallion shows every intention of following in their footsteps. His canter is beautifully balanced and consistent, complemented by a spectacular trot and a relaxed, high-quality walk.”

Sire -  His sire Bonds, was named Champion Stallion in Vechta. Subsequently, he passed his 14-day test with a superior score of 9.28 points. Bonds comes from a particularly rideable and functional line, which is known for, among other, the breeding stallion Belissimo M, who has given the sport countless fantastic horses.

Damline - The Brillantring mare Faszination has produced several successful dressage horses, including Galeria’s Summerville OLD (by Sezuan), a World Young Horse finalist (5yo)and Bundeschampionat bronze medallist (6yo). She is also the dam of advanced-level horses Fleetwood Mac and Florenz il Mio (both by Fürst Romancier), along with two medium-level performers. His granddam, Frascaya, produced the Grand Prix horse Damon’s Design (by Damon Hill) and his full sister Damon’s Fantasy, successful up to Inter II level.
