Information

About - Ridden by Beat Mändli and later especially by Hans-Dieter Dreher, COLORE was a multiple-time member of the German team. His achievements include: Winner of the Calgary Nations Cup, winning the Maastricht 3* Grand Prix, winning the 1.55m class at Mannheim CSI 3*, winning the 1.50m class at Geneva and Doha 5* and Donaueschingen 3*, placing 3rd in the Lyon 5* Grand Prix, placing 4th in the London and Zurich 5* Grand Prixs and placing 7th in the Geneva 5* Champion's Challenge. Colore Is a powerful stallion with a well-structured top-line. He displays attitude, energy and scope and a great canter with a good hindleg technique which his offspring seem to inherit.

Sire - Sire Contender won the 1987 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test with a jumping index of 146.6. He went on to be the reserve Hauptprämie winner in Oldenburg on the basis of his excellent first crop of foals. He has 127 licensed sons and 498 offspring competing in sport; 25 of his licensed sons also jumped at grand prix. Among them are Montender (German Champion, double bronze medallist at the Athens Olympic Games and double gold medallist at the 2005 European Championships), Colore, Catwalk van de Helle, Chellano Z and Con Air. 

Damline - Colore's dam Hera XIX has produced three licensed sons and has 5 offspring jumping 1.30m and above. She is the daughter of Lord the internationally successful eventing stallion who sired more than 60 licensed sons and his progeny earned more than €3,000.000 in winnings.

Offspring -  Priority was given to Colore's sporing career and so he has few offspring old enough to compete. However there are some notable horses already. He passes on his type, suppleness and strength. 

- CORETTA Z, CSI 3* with D. WILL, notably 4^th of 1,50m class in Mannheim and winner of 1,45m class in Opglabbeek & Kronenberg. Since then 5^th at Redefin CSI 3* with a Swedish rider
- PB CHAKIRA Z, impressive and regular in young horses classes, recently placed 3^rd at Pinneberg CSI 4*
- COOMA Z, very regular in CSI YH at 6 and 7yo and then placed in CSI U25
- COLLONELLA Z, placed at 3*level in Belgium and then in the United States
- GOOD COLORE DU GERY, placings up to GP Top 7 1,40m and CSY YH with M. MALLAT
- COLORE DEL CACCIATORE, CSI Junior – 1,40m
- MUFASA 9 et COLLIN 154, both ranked in 1,35m classes in Germany
