Information

About - Coquetto is a strong-type, modern son of Cornet Obolensky. He impresses with his correct conformation, three very good basic gaits, and a good character. At the jump, Coquetto demonstrates everything a top show jumper needs. Powerful take-off with plenty of elasticity, good back arch, tremendous scope, and super rideability.

Performance - In 2021, after a highly successful second sport test in Münster Handorf, Coquetto received his final breeding approval. He received excellent scores of 9.5 for rideability, 9.0 for scope and overall impression, 8.4 for canter, and 8.7 for manner, completing his test with a weighted overall jumping score of 8.91. As a six-year-old he placed fourth in the final at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf and had his first duccessed up to 1.40m  in youngseter tours such as the CSIO3* in Prague and second place in the final of the Youngster Tour at the Festhalle tournament in Frankfurt. In 2023, he was runner-up in the 7-year-old jumping horse catagory at the State Championships in Elmhorn. In 2024, Coquetto and Hannes achieve victories and successes in international competitions up to S3* level, such as the CSI in Neumünster, Gothenburg, and Münster. In Balve, Hannes and Coquetto become runners-up at the German U25 Championships. 

Sire - Cornet Obolensky competed in the 2008 Olympics at the young age of nine. He is a foundation stallion in the breeding of modern jumping horses, and is currently ranked third in the 2016 WBFSH Sire Rankings. The total earnings of his offspring, including former World Number One Cornet D'Amour, Cornado NRW, Cornet's Cristallo, Cocoshynsky, Cornetto King, and Comme Il Faut, are over €3.7 million. The Clinton/Heartbreaker cross is a proven formula that has produced over a hundred grand prix jumpers including Cordess and Consul DL Vie Z, and over 300 licensed stallions.

Damline - Dam's sire Casquetto, is very interestingly bred via Casall and Concerto II, was himself successful up to S class. Coquetto's high-performance line 2067 has produced 64 licensed sons, including Canturano I + II, Conrad de Hus and Landstreicher, as well as numerous internationally successful show jumpers such as Cattani (G. Gulliksen, NOR), Leonidas (L. Nieberg), Leonardo (F. Sloothaak) and Lordon (L. Diniz, POR). Coquetto's grandmother Jill III produced, among others, Cosima, who was successful up to S** under Nisse Lüneburg, and Conchito, who was successful up to 1.30m under Paula de Boer, with Contender.
